Project Description
Often it’s impossible to create more floor space in a strata building. In this case however, we were able to with some clever thinking.
By moving the location of the front door and closing off a small external entry foyer and by pushing out the sliding doors into a front terrace, we added approx. 20% additional floor space. This accommodated a new study area and a much larger living area and bedroom, capitalising on the ocean and beach views.
Another masterstroke was expanding the front terrace by adding a curved boundary wall to replace a sharp angular wall, which also allowed for the addition of a gate with direct access from the terrace to the street.
The result: a perfectly positioned, large 1 bedroom plus study apartment, capturing perfect easterly ocean and beach views.
