A 1950’s sloping California bungalow. The challenge was to level the backyard while taking advantage of the sloping land to CR EIGHT spectacular 4.5 metre-high internal ceilings.
This evoked the feeling of Mediterranean resort living. The property is entered via cascading wide stone stairs that lead you to a 100 sqm kitchen and living space, ideal for entertaining.
The 4-meter-high timber sliding doors open out to a levelled tropical garden with its own cabana and swimming pool.
This property, when sold 3 years later, achieved a then suburb record sale price.
